758 Terry Keating Smithwick was a very well respected widow of John Keating, MD. She raised her many children after her husband's untimely death and was a popular member of the Democratic party in New Milford. She was elected for several terms as Tax Collector for the town of New Milford. Late in life she married Henry Smithwick.  O'Neill, Theresa Marie (I460)

759 The 1828 Antrim tithes survey lists a John and James Getty in Benvardin Getty, Mary (I8225)

760 The 1901 census records her age as 66, which would be a 1836 birthday. But, a marriage in 1846 would have her only 11 years only, so I think the census may be incorrect. Bray, Bridget (I7714)

761 The 1920 US Census indicates that both Charles and Dora were in second marriages. Using this as a placeholder until we know Charles' first wife. Family F3188

762 The actual marriage was most likely in 1902-1903, but this was one done for civil registration. Family F692

763 The birth registration lists no name and the censuses of 1901 and 1911 list Eillen Joyce and Evylin, respectively, but I'm going with Eileen Joyce as that is what she reported in passenger list 8 Sep 1928 arriving to New York. Law, Eileen Joyce (I11341)

764 The Brooklyn Daily Eagle - Jun 21, 1907 p2
John Smithwuck, a retired milkman and resident of Maspeth for 44 yrs, died at his home on Collins Ave today of appendicitis. Born in Ireland 64 yrs ago and came to this country 44 trs ago. Retired 10 yrs. Leaves a widow, Ellen, five daughters and three sons. Burial in St John's Cemetery.

Smithwick, John (I1779)

765 The Catholic parish register lists the name of the mother as Mary Downey and sponsor Patrick Downey, but I cannot find any other records with that surname in the parish. I'm inclined to believe this is a typo. Murray, Thomas (I8128)

766 The connections between the Grady and Deane families are confusing because two sisters each married a Standish. From

Deane, Frances (I5556)

767 The current theory is that this Sarah's surname was Goldman, and her parents were Szlama and Szajna -- http://www.smithwickfamily.org/getperson.php?personID=I9129&tree=smithwick. There are DNA matches to descendants of this couple. The only confirmation that I am aware of her name/marriage to Szapsia comes from a Social Security claim for son Charles. Goldman?, Sarah (Sure) (I2039)

768 The departure immigration record from May 1895 from Hamburg lists Moses/male, and the arrival record from June 1895 in New York lists Marie/female. Brumer, Moses or Marie (I7574)

769 The father listed in the marriage registration is Hugh, but I believe it to be Daniel, for several reasons: age, geography, profession of father (bootmaker), and the lack of other Hughs born at the same time still living. Family F2343

770 The following may apply to Archie or his sons: McIlroy Archibald of Currysheskan county Antrim farmer died 25 June 1933 Probate Belfast 21 December to John McLaughlin junior farmer. Effects £23 5s. McElroy, Archibald (I5011)

774 The Index to the Prerogative Wills of Ireland includes: 1802 Glison, Elizabeth, Dublin, widow  Elizabeth (I937)

775 The info does not square with the town Carnane which Michael was supposedly living in, but the birth year matches: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1927/04969/4353056.pdf Connell, Michael (I6973)

776 The last record I have of Chaim is the passenger list from 14 Jun 1929 traveling on the Aquitania from Cherbourg to NYC, and he listed wife Blima and brother David. I have no further records of Chaim, Blima, or children.

It also appears that Chaim had been deported on 7 May 1929 as an illegal alien.
Respler, Hyman (Chaim) (I2026)

777 The marriage record lives Timothy as from Eightercua, but I believe this to be a transcription error -- Julia Donnelly who married Cornelius is from Eightercua. Donnelly, Bridget (I8520)

778 The mother's name listed appears to be Anne, but I'm inclined to think this is the same Edward with a mistake. No other Edwards have been found in this era. Buckley, Dan (I6413)

779 The name listed here is Anne, but I believe based on age that she is the same person. Wallace, Elizabeth Ann (I7359)

780 The Oregon Death Index lists a Virginia Smithwick death on 23-Jul-1943: https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:VZH9-RNW  Smithwick, Virginia C. (I1358)

781 The parish register shows Thomas and Mary as parents, but the birth is after the marriage of Thomas and Anne, and the census shows Joseph in the same household with Anne. Deferring to census pending other input. Bradshaw, Joseph (I2413)

782 The sponsors of the baptism are John Smithwick and Kate Bradshaw. Bradshaw, Thomas (I2414)

783 The Tithe Applotment index includes a Robert Bradshaw from Kilduff (http://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/reels/tab//004587447/004587447_00161.pdf), which may be this Robert, or the Robert Bradshaw, Esq. of Mount Sion. Bradshaw, Robert (I4732)

784 The townland appears to be Lagg or Logg, but unable to find anything similar in this district. Dunican, John (I9561)

785 The wedding was performed at St. Bridget's Church in Cheshire, CT by Rev. Patrick McCarthy. Anne Zelmet of Southington, CT was the maid of honor and John Smithwick of New Britain, CT, cousin of the groom, was the best man. Family F2

786 The will of John Smithwick was proved by his wife Anna (Lloyd) Smithwick alone in the prerogative Court of Ireland on 18 March 1801. Smithwick, John (I273)

787 The year of birth may have been transcribed incorrectly -- this is only two months before birth of sister Rojza Kortsarz, Icek Boim (I9937)

788 There are a large number of Gradys who married in Kilteely Parish during this time period, including: Honora, Matthew, John, Thomas, Standish, Patrick, and more. Candidates for parents to Margaret could include Denis, John + Catherine Tuohy, and others. Grady, Margaret (I105)

789 There are Furnivalls in Cheshire at this time. In 1479, Ralph Furnivall was granted land in Brinley Moor by the Vicar of Sandbach and William Brereton. His father John had land in Bradwell (Bradwall) near Sandbach. Furnivall, Ellen (I376)

790 There are two death registrations for John McCurdy born the same year in Ballycastle: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/details-civil/b2faaf21732362 McCurdy, John McGuigan (I6568)

791 There are WWII draft cards for a Natan and Josel Spiegelman naming Leon as their contact. Natan was born in Lodice, Poland in 1911, and Josel on 22 Dec 1916. Assuming these are not children of brother Isadore, that suggests another sibling. Spiegelman, Leon Jacob (I6881)

792 There is a 1915 census record for a Sister Mary Crowley at the St. Joseph's Seminary, which was established by the Sisters of St. Joseph in 1908. https://archives.rpi.edu/institute-history/building-histories/troy-university-building-seminary Crowley, Mary A. (I8102)

793 There is a Robert Bradshaw who was a bailiff murdered 23 May 1864 in New Pallas at age 50, which makes this Robert a candidate. Bradshaw, Robert (I4195)

794 There is a Russia, Duma Voter Lists, 1906-1907 for the town of Sochaczew in the name of Moszek Berkowicz in 1907 which lists his father as Abram. Bąkiewicz or Bonkiewicz, Abram? (I7671)

795 There is another Henry Smithwick (http://smithwickfamily.org/getperson.php?personID=I3275&tree=smithwick) born around the same time, who may be a cousin. It is possible that he married Rose Johnson. Family F147

796 There was a petition for a "Sabsa Goldman" to be naturalized on 8 May 1924 in New York. No other supporting details were provided.

The immigration record in 1913 lists a surname of Berkowicz (Boukewicz). This was also used with daughter Bertha, plus Abram and Bella when they immigrated in 1921. This suggests that the name may have been changed by the family to Goldman upon arrival in the US.

There is a Russian voting record in 1907 for Szapsa Berkowicz in Sochaczew, father Moszek.
Goldman (Bąkiewicz or Bonkiewicz), Shapse (Szapsia Chaim) (I1986)

797 There's an 1851 census extract form for Joesph Whelehan of in Kilnagarna, Ballinahow. He is the son of Patrick Whelehan and Catherine Galvin, living in Leabeg, Lemanaghan Parish. Catherine could be an aunt.

In Leabeg/Kilnagarna/Kilnagoolny/Aghifan towns, there are several Galvins who could be his parents:
* John and Mary (Murray)
* Patrick and Mary (Kellegher)
* Edward and Bridget (Gilligan)

There is a Patrick Galvin living at 111 Scovill Street, Waterbury, CT in 1917 and in the 1920 census, but this is a different Patrick -- married to Hannah with daughter Katherine. Refer to 1910 census.

Galvin, Patrick (I2556)

798 This appears to be a civil registration. Family F2961

799 This child was listed as Elizabeth in the Cork baptism registration, but in immigration and all further censuses as Mary. I would suspect that Elizabeth and Mary were separate siblings, except census of 1880 records 9 children, 8 living, and that number should be 10 if Elizabeth and Mary were not the same kid. Smithwick, Mary/Elizabeth (I1913)

800 This could be Michael Smithwick of Mount Catherine, Limerick (1803-1857) -- https://www.smithwickfamily.org/getperson.php?personID=I290&tree=smithwick Smithwick, Michael (I11716)
