February 14, 1935 - August 3, 2022 Rock Hill, South Carolina - Lola Lillian (Carillo) Dillon, 87, passed away on Wednesday, August, 3rd, 2022. Lola was born in Waterbury, Connecticut, on February 14th, 1935 to the late James and Rose (Soucy) Carillo. She resided in New Jersey for many years before moving to Rock Hill twenty-six years ago. Lola was a member of the Silver Foxes at the Rock Hill YMCA. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and embroidery. She was an avid fan of crossword puzzles and loved watching old black and white classic movies, especially westerns. Lola is preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Dillon, Jr.; her parents, James and Rose Carillo; her sister, Jane Stanevich; her sister-in-law, Patricia A. Ward; and her brother-in-law, John D. Dillon, Sr. Lola is survived by her children, Thomas J. Dillon, III and his wife, Rosie of York, David J. Dillon and his wife, Donna of Rock Hill, and Lisa A. Rodriguez and her husband, James of Rockaway, NJ; her five granddaughters, Lisa Dillon, Jennifer Zutterman, Melissa Rodriguez, Ashley and Stephanie Reyes, all from NJ; five step-grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Johanne Dillon; her brother-in-law, Michael C. Ward; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be private.
