Rita G Shea (Babson), 97, of Sanford, ME., formerly of Osterville MA, died on November 18, 2015, daughter of the late Charles and Grace Babson, was born and raised in Cambridge MA. After her marriage she lived in Maryland with her husband and worked in Washington for many years before moving to Worcester, MA and also spent many years living in Osterville MA. After 50 years of marriage to her late husband Dr. Joseph A Shea who died May of 1995, Rita moved to Kennebunk Maine and finally to Sanford, Maine where she passed away. She leaves behind a loving son and daughter-in law Kevin and Linda Shea of Dayton, Maine and a Daughter Maureen Viau of Dennis MA, also survived by Grandson: Casey Shea of Cranberry Township, PA. Granddaughters: Jessica Hall of Aurora, CO. and Danielle Viau of So.Dennis, MA.and two great grandchildren. Rita was a proud graduate of Cambridge High and Latin School and worked as a secretary for many years at the Pentagon before devoting herself to homemaking. A visiting hour will be on Saturday November 21, 2015 from noon to 1PM in the John-Lawrence Funeral Home, 3778 Falmouth Road(Route 28) Marstons Mills, MA. A Funeral Service will follow at 1PM in the funeral home. Burial will be in Mosswood Cemetery.
