    A Memoriall [sic] of an indented Deed of Lease bearing date the eighteenth day of November in the year of our Lord one thousand seven hundred and forty six made between Mrs. Ann Foulke of Youghall in the County of Corke Widow of the one part and Peter Smithwick of Killduffe in the County of Limerick Gent of the other part reciting that said Ann Foulke for the Considerations in said Deed mentioned hath demised unto the said Peter Smithwick all that and those that part of Ballycarron lately held by David Butler containing one hundred and forty acres plantantion measure situate lying and being in the Barony of ClanWilliam and County of Tipperary for and during the lives of Peter William and Patrick three sons of said Peter the Lease with Covenant of Renewal for ever Yielding and paying therefore and thereout yearly unto the said Ann Foulke her heirs Executors administrators and assigns that Rent or Sum of sixty pounds sterling, which said Deed is witnessed by Benjamin Greene of Youghall in the County of Corke Gent and by John Quinnane of Killduffe in the County of Limerick Yeoman and by Robert Gore of Youghall aforesaid Schoolmaster and this memoriall is witnessed by the said John Quinnane also by Michale Hiffernan of the town and County of Tipperary Gent

    The above named John Quinnane came this day before me and made Oath that he is a subscribing Witness to the Deed of Lease whereof the above is a true memoriall and that he saw the same duly executed by the parties thereto and that he also saw the abovenamed Peter Smithwick duly execute the above memoriall in this Deponents presence in the presence of the other subscribing Witness and the name John Quinnane subscribed as a Witness as well to the said Deed of Lease as to the said memoriall is this Deponents proper handwriting and signature
