    Text Thomas L. Nadeau, 71, husband of Joan A. McCourt of Wilton, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2012 at home.

    Born December 5, 1940 in Waterbury, Connecticut, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Bernice Nadeau.

    Judge Nadeau attended Watertown High School, served in the U.S. Army, and graduated from University of Connecticut. He graduated from Georgetown Law School. Tom worked for 23 years at Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder in Bridgeport Connecticut before being appointed as a Superior Court judge.

    Tom enjoyed his time captaining his boat, the HMS Beagle. He also enjoyed fishing, automobiles and his beloved New York Yankees.

    He is survived by his wife Joan, daughter Jessica and sons Jonathan and Andrew. He was predeceased by his brother Roger.

    Friends may call on Friday from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Avenue, Norwalk, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday at 9:30 AM in Our Lady of Fatima Church, 229 Danbury Road, Wilton. Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, 70 Ridgefield Road, Wilton.
