    Text WATERTOWN — Funeral services for Mrs. Bernice E. (Flanagan) Nadeau, 85, of Snails Turnpike, will be held Friday, April 4, at 9 a.m. from the O'Neill Funeral Home, 742 Main Street, Oakville, to Our Lady of Loreto Church, Bunker Hill Road, Waterbury, for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Mount Olivet Cemetery, Plait Road, Watertown. Calling hours are today (Thursday) from 5 to S p.m. at me funeral home.

    Mrs. Nadeau, widow of Lawrence E. Nadeau, who died in 1976, died Tuesday, April 1, at the Glendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Naugatuck. She was born in Waterbury on December 16, 1911, daughter of the late Edward and Mary (Lynch) Flanagan. She was a resident of Oakville and Watertown for most of her life, living in the latter for 57 years. She went to school at the Russell Grammar School in Waterbury and was a graduate of Wilby High School. She had worked at the Oakville Pin Ship, and also at the Wedding Embassy of Waterbury as a bridal consultant for seven years. She was a communicant of Our Lady of Loreto Church.

    She is survived by two sons, Thomas L. Nadeau of Wilton and Roger I. Nadeau of Plainville; a brother, George Flanagan of Middlebury; three grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
