      Terri Stein, age 60, passed away with her family by her side on the morning of December 27th, 2016, after a heroic battle with stage IV pancreatic cancer.
      Born on May 9th, 1956 in Riverside, CA she was the daughter of Thelma and Leon Lackey. She had a passion for gardening, spending time with her family and friends and sewing, especially quilting making numerous gifts for her loved ones. She worked for SL Start for many years, recently she received her Guardianship License to assist the Spokane Disabled and Elderly Community, a dream come true. She was determined to fight for the rights of people with disabilities. - She is survived by her husband Ron, recently celebrating their 33rd wedding anniversary. Her sons, Henry, Ryan, Patrick, Christopher and Aaron, seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles, her sister Karen and her parents, Thelma and Leon. She is now rejoicing in heaven with her two brothers, Gary and Ben.
      A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 7th at 11am at Dishman Baptist Church. A YouCaring account named Terri and Ron Stein has been set up to help ease the financial burden of medical costs to the family. All donations are greatly appreciated. God Bless.
