Patrick J. Gallagher, 59, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2022 at home. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Edward G. Gallagher and Eleanor (Devine) Ottaviano. Patrick was the loving father of Ryan P. Gallagher and Jamie M. Frieden. He was the brother of Daniel Gallagher, Kelly Izzo, Tracey Pecchia and Cathy Jackson. He was the brother of the late Edward Shaun Gallagher.
Patrick also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and other extended family. He joins his life-partner Kathleen O’Mara, who also recently passed away. Patrick was a charismatic, gentle, loving guy who spent much of his life golfing, being the most die-hard Cincinnati Bengals fan in all of New England, and jamming out to Van Halen.
A visitation will be held Sunday, February 27, 2022 from 2-4pm with a service to follow at 4pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Avenue, Warwick. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, 199 Water Street, 11th Floor, New York, NY 10038, would be appreciated.
