      Cornelius James William "Bill" Lee, 79, of Wethersfield, loving husband to Janet E. (Garrity) Lee, peacefully passed away Thursday, September 14, 2017 in Hartford Hospital.

      Bill was born March 13, 1938 and raised in Hartford, one of five children to William James and Mary (Shea) Lee.

      He graduated from Holy Trinity High School, continuing his education at University of Hartford, earning his Bachelor's Degree. Prior to his retirement, Bill was employed by The Aetna, where his dedication to his work elevated him to the position of Director of the IT Department.

      He was a faithful communicant of Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, as well as a member of the Wethersfield Senior Center.

      In addition to his work and religion, Bill was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who enjoyed his family time whether at home or on a trip to the islands.

      In addition to his wife Janet, Bill will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his four children; Kathleen "Kathy" Lee of Manchester, Christopher "Chris" & Karla Lee of Ellington, Matthew "Matt" & Dawn Lee of Marlborough, and his estranged son Michael & Leslie Lee in York, South Carolina; his brother and sister-in-law, Barry & Penny Lee of Berlin; seven adored grandchildren, David, Jacob, Marisa, Allison, Katherine, Caitlin and Abigail; as well as several nieces and nephews.

      In addition to his parents, Bill was predeceased by an infant son, William Lee, a brother Robert Lee and a sister Patricia "Pat" Lee.

      Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the Lee family Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 3-6pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Bill's life will be Monday, September 18th at 10am in Corpus Christi Church of Christ the King Parish, 601 Silas Deane Highway, Wethersfield (attendees are asked to go directly to the church). Interment will follow the Mass in Cedar Hill Cemetery (Section 34), 453 Fairfield Ave., Hartford. To extend online condolences and/or share a memory, please visit farleysullivan.com.
