      3 Jan 1958 - Funeral services for Mrs. Catherine (Beggs) Galvin, widow of John P. Galvin, 27 Homer Street, Waterbury, will be held tomorrow at 9:15 a.m., from the Mulville Funeral Home, 270 West Main Street, Waterbury, to St. Michael's Church, for a solemn high mass. Mrs. Galvin died yesterday morning at St. Mary's Hospital after a brief illness. She was the mother of John P. Galvin, who was killed in World War I, and who was known as "The Songbird of-the Yankee Division." She also was the mother of James T. Galvin, assistant city editor of the Waterbury American. Burial will be in new St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home today.
