      GALULLO, MICHAEL J., JR. Michael J. Galullo Jr., 82, died Sunday April 26th in Charlotte Hungerford Hospital with his family by his side. He was the husband of Lucy Maye Cavanaugh. Mr. Galullo was born August 7, 1932 in Waterbury, son of the late Michael J. and Elizabeth (Fox) Galullo. He graduated from Sacred Heart High School in Waterbury and the Taft School in Watertown. He received his bachelor of science degree from Fordham University in New York. He worked at ANAMET, Inc. for 42 years, retiring as an executive vice president. He was a long time resident of Watertown prior to moving to Torrington, and was an avid NY Yankees fan. Besides his devoted wife of 58 years, he leaves his loving children: Elisabeth Carpino and her husband, Edward, of Milford and their daughters, Elisabeth and Kelly Carpino; Michael Galullo and his wife, Sara of Milford; Dana Sanderson and her husband, Jim, of California, and their children, Justin and Barbara Sanderson, Ian Sanderson and Kathryn Sanderson; Peter Galullo and his wife, AnneMarie, of California, and their daughters, Natalie and Emily Galullo; Christina Ahlman and her husband , David, of Torrington, and their children, Matthew, Ryan, Caroline and Michael Ahlman. A Memorial Mass will be held Wed. April 29th at 10:00 a.m. in the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception, West Main Street, Waterbury. No calling hours. Arrangements by Carpino Funeral Home, Southbury. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to, American Parkinson Disease Association, CT Chapter, PO Box 718, Old Mystic, CT 06372; or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 360 Amity Road, Woodbridge, CT 06525. The family would like to thank Litchfield Woods and the 5th floor nursing staff of Charlotte-Hungerford Hospital for their compassionate care.
