      Guy Anthony Blehl, 61, of Montclair, NJ, went home to the Lord on July 27, 2016 surrounded by his loving family after a long and courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.
      He was born to Thomas and Elinor Blehl on December 15, 1954 in Oak Park, Illinois. Guy was predeceased by his mother Elinor Blehl but will be deeply missed by his surviving family: beloved wife of 26 years Sally (nee) Schneider, daughter Melinda Blehl, son Cort W. Blehl, his 3 grandchildren: Rowan Blehl, Fiona Blehl, Riley Auriemma-Blehl, his father Thomas Blehl and his wife Camille Blehl, his 11 siblings: Mary, Tommy, Steve, Vince, Connie, Elly, John, Andrea, Erica, Allen, and Kathleen as well as 4 nephews, 5 nieces, and 3 great-nephews.
      After leaving Illinois, Guy grew up in Oradell, NJ. Early in life, he discovered his talent and passion for the Automotive Transmission world. He was founder and chief operator for 37 years of Gold Seal Transmissions, one of NJ?s largest transmission facilities located in Upper Saddle River, NJ. Guy?s son, Cort, will carry on his Gold Seal legacy.
      The family will be receiving friends on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM ? 9:00 PM at the Volk Leber Funeral Home, 268 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell, NJ 07649.
      A funeral mass will be celebrated Wednesday, August 3, 2016 at 10:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption, 29 Jefferson Avenue, Emerson, NJ 07630.
      Guy will be laid to rest at the Christ the King Cemetery 980 Huron Road, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417.
