      Fitchburg- Claire L. (Perodeau) Roux, 91, died Sunday, November 19 at the River Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Lancaster. Mrs. Roux was born in Fitchburg on December 30, 1925 a daughter of the late Emile and Ida (Sauvageau) Perodeau. She leaves her two sons, Denis Roux of Ashburnham and his wife Sylvia Breault, Alan Roux of Princeton and his companion Carolyn Baker, her daughter, Amy Walsh of Fitchburg and her husband Martin. Two granddaughters, Jackie and Stacey Roux and one grandson, Tom Roux and his wife Kaitie, a sister in law, Lucille Perodeau of West Barnstable, a brother in law, Francis Roux of Clinton and his wife Lucille and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her husband of fifty seven years, Leo Roux who died in 2008, two brothers, Raymond and Alfred (Fred) Perodeau and two sisters, Irene Bouvier and Lucille Lord. She worked at Ben Franklin, Gendron?s Clothing Store for many years and then at LeBlanc?s Jewelers. She loved cooking, traveling, their monthly couple?s nights, shopping, lunching and going out in general. She had a great wit and loved to joke around but she would drop any of that if she could do something to help anyone in the family.
